I have joined the Magic 100 determined to re-connect with my ability to dream and play. Currently I work in the supplement industry and also have an online business where I sell a few supplements that I actually think are worth taking - like Omega 3 and Vitamin C. I am also part of the Turbulence Training community and am getting fitter and healthier every day.
Hi Sara! I thought I would check out your magic100 area. For some reason I couldn't find it before (must be the pic!). Good goals. Especially the one where you commit to visiting your grandparents. I have an Aunty who everyone has abandoned because she has turned into a nasty old... and I stopped seeing her as was a bit scared after all the stories I heard. She is on my 'list' to see. Still haven't. Regarding your goal 14, checkout this website A Complaint Free World. I came across it after watching an Oprah show awhile ago. It is a pretty cool concept. I brought the bracelets. Have not managed 21 days yet!
Congrats - you look fab. Tight as! Lots more muscle, lots less fat. Gotta love it. I'll move into new house and then re evaluate - but I must say with winter fast approaching - that comfort food is creeping up to the top of my agenda. Casseroles, mashed potato, soup, baked puddings, mmmmmmm. I am going to give the elimination diet a go thou. Just thought it might be a bit crazy with all the moving.
Hello! I've been thinking about you. How funny. I feel off the TT wagon. combination of things. After my middle 4 weeks went to custard I kinda of lost my mojo. Sad but true. I also thought the website revamp was bad timing - I didn't like the new format and it kinda put me of my stride. Been trying to eat well and exercise and have done so with moderate success - still am maybe 3 or 4 kilos lighter then when I started TT. I've also slacked off on my Magic 100. Still focusing on my goals but not actively participating in daily stuff. I must re start hat because I found it really worked for me. Once again, another example of life getting in the way - which is no excuse I know! But have ticked off on my major goal which was to find us a house to buy. We move in 10 days! So excited. How did your transformation go? I'll sign off here and go and check it out. Awesome I bet - you are a real inspiration. Touch base soon. xxx
I've had a funny thing with my Magic 100 list (I'm now on day 57). I've achieved many things from my list and most of the others, probably about 30 goals just make me groan. I don't really want them, they were for the wrong reasons and in re-reading them I realised that I'm not truly connected to them. That's part of the process I guess!
A summary of 20 goals I have achieved so far, for your interest. There are more, but I don't want to bore you!:
1. Complete the Turbulence Training challenge - done yesterday.
2. Get Lasik to free myself of glasses - this is booked in for Thursday (and I am so nervous like you would not believe). I did not think I could afford this but I mentioned in front of my mother that I wanted it and she offered to pay. I will pay her back at $40 a week. She wanted to do it because she has done a lot for my sister and wanted to do something for me. So, in a way, it let her feel good too.
3. Dress like life is a celebration - working it. More colours.
4. Sana Direct accounts up to date and easy to maintain - definite improvement. I learned how to work MYOB properly and it's not so hard after all.
5. Have a well equipped home gym. This is a WIP but yesterday my partner warned me that he will be unavailable in the evenings for this week at least because he wants to clean out the garage and re-floor it so we can move our workout gear into there.
6. Read 15 books (so far four - need to get a wiggle on)
7. Take my niece to the library twice a month - doing it
8. Clean mess by the back door - done
9. Overhaul the bedroom - done, new bed and all
10. See four foreign films - three seen
11. Visit Grandparents properly once a months - doing it. Previously I never went to see them for the purpose of actually visiting. I was always just running in to borrow something or pass on a message.
12 Attend Salsa congress - done
13 Ship all Sana orders within 24 hours - almost! Easter put a kink in that.
14. Replace all whining and complaining with action - mmm, working on it.
15. Live free of backpain. I have seen 6 specialists for my ongoing lower back issues. Finally, last week I got a new guy that ordered up an MRI scan and I will find out the result of that tomorrow. A proper diagnosis will surely be a step in the right direction.
16. Live well within my weekly budget - achieved on all but two weeks (that is a miracle)
17. Pay off credit card and stay debt free - DONE. That was a biggie, I was unsure if I'd get it done within the 100 days, and yet I managed it.
18. Do 10 random acts of kindness - only 1 done so far.
19. Do five things from the 'adventure' section of the entertainment guide - two done
20. Learn EFT tapping points for food cravings - done and seems to work, even though I started out as a skeptic.
Woohoo! It was amazing! I haven't had a lot of time to post lately. I'm focusing on getting those goals acheived. Funny thing is, the big ones are coming along (Salsa congress, get lasik'd) but the small ones (tidy my car) are not really getting there yet.
I hope you are cranking along at your usual pace also. Are you finished your TT challenge yet?
