I accomplished my fitness goal of staying on a consistent work out program for more than a few weeks. I've always been very slim and unaware of how to make fitness a priority in my "busy" schedule. Well as of this month, I completed a 3 month fitness program, gaining precisely 20 lbs, while keeping my body fat down around 10%. Thanks Dax!
Secondly, I really wanted to perform at a local contest last year, but my genre of intelligent Hip-Hop wasn't included in the showcase at all, due to a lack o…

I've gotten much better at Goal Achievement. The information from the magic hundred and half a dozen other courses I read last year has started to become second hand to me, rather than something I have to go back & read after forgetting. So I'll take a moment to write what has stood out to me the most since I first read the magic hundred months and months ago!
1. Having a clear picture (or more) of your goal already achieved is the easiest thing to do (takes no time, location, or resources,…

I sat down at my computer at 6am this morning. I wasn't ready to get out of bed, I was tired, sore, hadn't had enough sleep and feeling a bit crappy.....I could have rolled over and gone back to sleep - however Mr Daylight wouldn't let me. Usually on mornings like this, I sit and I whinge to myself about how yuk I feel, then I whinge to my husband about it when he gets up later that morning, then I find myself whingeing alllllll day, and you know what? by the end of the day, I usually still feel…

"Strong Man" conjures up all those old images from Saturday afternoon TV's "Strongest Man" (I'm showing my age now! ;-), of large men with big guts, dragging trucks across a line with a "rope" around their waist doesn't it? Well it does for me anyway ..... however, when I was asked if I wanted to have a go at strong man training, I cheerily said - yeah great, I'll give it a go !
At 5ft 2, you'd think that flipping 160kg army truck tyres was near on impossible, but with a bit of assistance and a…

I'm new to this whole blog thing so please bear with me. I'm four days into my Magic 100 and I wanted to follow my own progress by blogging on this site... keeps me honest with myself I guess. I'm an Aussie living in London (moved here in April this year), doing the work and travel thing at the moment. I work in finance and am reaching a stage where I'm looking for something that inspires and motivates me. I'm not exactly sure what I want to be doing at this stage so I guess you can say I'm in a…

Hi everyone,
I have completed my spreadsheet of goals, dates, helpers and review tools and am at that moment when you feel a bit daunted and confused.
Finding it difficult to suspend disbelief and the doubts are trying to creep in......am trying to play it like a fun game as Dax recommended
It can be very empowering.....my goals feature everything from 'Visit Peru' to 'Call my mother every week' and 'stop eating off-schedule'.....oh, and 'be kind to everyone you meet'.
The most challenging b…

I subscribed to this program 2 weeks ago but it took me a week to get all my goals and program in place. So on Monday 9/22 I officially started the program to coincide with the last 100 days of the year 2008. What a difference I have seen in my behavior in just one short week.
Typically when I have a specific project, such as remodel the bathroom, I am a demon for details. I create a project book and keep all costs, receipts, and any info regarding this project in that book. The M-100 is quite…

Thats right! Things are now looking up, and for the first time in nearly 2 years i am looking forward to what the future holds.
The Level 2 Gym Instructor DVD Course from Premier Training arrived on Tuesday and so far i have covered 3 sections on the first of three DVDs. The Skeletal System (How on earth someone can talk about the Skeletal System for 1 hour 30 minutes is beyond me!), The Neuromuscular System, and finally Muscles and Muscle Actions. Hopefully i can cover the next section before…

It has been awhile since I checked in. My grandson was born March 25th about 3 weeks early he is fine and wonderful. I have been keeping busy watching him for my daughter when she works and goes to school. I have also been going to physical therapy. My doctor got me approved for physical therapy I am so happy about that. I had my first 4 weeks in the pool and I am feeling stronger and walking mostly with one crutch. I start my next 4 weeks in the gym then I will be on my own. My goal is to work…
